Yes, on multiple occasions, though I think some places would claim I rage quit.

My first job the owner accused me of theft because the register was short the next morning. I told her she miscounted, which she likely did, because she was a ducking idiot. Looked like Virginia McCaskey. Anyway, I was innocent, but she told me if I told her who else was stealing she wouldn't press charges. I told her she couldn't do shit and kicked the door open as I left.

Second job, a new manager came in and fucking hated me. Think it was because I had as much authority as him. Started cutting my hours for no reason whatsoever. I went from 38 to fucking 12. I snapped on that asshole and told his fat ass to pull the trucks around himself if he thought he did so much around the place. We got into a verbal altercation and I went down in a blaze of glory, throwing my uniform at him and kicking out one of the box displays as I left. Technically, I quit supposedly.

Another job, they accused me of stealing, but didn't have any proof. I denied the allegations. They let me go but it was without cause according to unemployment. I was ripping them off something fierce. Note to employers: If you want employees to be loyal and not steal, treat them fairly and give them a liveable wage, especially when they're busting their ass. And don't **** around with their benefits so you can save money.

yes I got fired a couple times when I was a younger man call it fired or quit back then I really gave no fucks sometimes I would start partying and it would last 5 or six days and occasionally those people who thought they were the boss of my life would terminate my employment there. luckily for me I learned a trade and have always really never had a prob finding a job not much competition for back breaking manual labor.

cept other rednecks and Mexicans and most of them have the same issues

im in my second marriage and couldn't be happier the first one started because I knocked her up and did the right thing so to speak. didn't work out so great in the end I learned a lot from that experience

the second marriage couldn't be any better and has lasted along time and I don't forsee it ending

Yup..I got fired once from a part time job when I was single. I was delivering furniture for a southside furniture store, and I was on salary..The days kept getting longer and longer, more deliveries etc,and the pay stayed the same. There were times I was out till 10PM and was hired 9-5..One day I got fed up, and pulled the truck in the store lot still half full with furniture at 5PM, locked it up and went home. I figured that would send a message to the boss..It did..Monday when I came in for work he fired me...lol..

But that very day I went and got another job at a competing store delivering furniture..This time I made sure I was getting paid by the hour

Worst day of my life. July 2013, on my birthday.

Before I began running a service department at my current Volkswagen dealership, I worked for a dealership running the internet sales department. It was customary for my to facilitate long-distance deals by doing all the finance paperwork, trade appraisals, credit applications, etc. I was working with an individual in Texas who was buying an F-450 we had on the lot. The purchase was for his business, and he was trying to meet a specific tax deadline in order to have the interest on the vehicle waived. I prepared all the paperwork and brought it to the dealership owner, as it's customary for him to FedEx everything to customers. Keeping it brief -- the owner mixed up some of the paperwork and sent to the wrong person. The customer missed his deadline and rightfully wanted the dealership to reimburse him for the discrepancy in taxes.

I had the next day off and came in July 2nd, my birthday. I couldn't even get to my desk, he called me into his office with our general manager, stated "my poor planning"... whatever that means, caused him to mix up the paperwork and I was at fault. He tried forcing me to reimburse the customer, then changed his mind and fired me.

I'm not one to hold grudges, but I've seen their financial statements get floated around between dealer principals and that specific dealership group hasn't had a green month in almost 9 months.

I didnt know you worked for a car dealership

I bought my wifes jeep over the phone..Best transaction I ever made

I researched the Jeep on line, called the guy and we made a deal right on the phone..I told him I had X amt of money to spend and he agreed. I told him to have everything ready for me when I arrived..It was a 4 hour drive. We walked in the place and he had every document filled out on his desk..We walked in his office, signed like 10 forms, handed him the check, and he handed us the keys..I was out of that place in 15 minutes. The car was washed and clean etc... Next time, Im gonna try the same tactic..Ive waited hours in car dealerships to finally get out the door, but this one was a pleasure

Yup, I've been in the car business for about five years, the last year and a half running service at a Volkswagen dealership. Most customers enjoy doing their purchases online. It's way easier to streamline everything. Customers have all the information at their disposal and make comparisons without having to visit a half dozen dealerships. Generally, most dealerships will advertise their best price online as a way to drive traffic to the website and dealership, so haggling is eliminated. At that point, it's just about the customer finding the "right car" and the right dealership that makes them comfortable with the purchasing process.

Best one I ever pulled at work was attaching a "Wide Load" sign using a paperclip to the rear belt loop of a receptionist(caught her bending over a file cabinet)...a receptionist with a huge ass and bad attitude.

Nobody said a word, she went out to lunch w/sign attached.:)

That and a few other stunts resulted in my firing...the main being telling GM he was incompetent.

Worked at a kohl's once and my boss wanted me to ask every single customer to sign up for some sears card bullshit. When someone said yes it would back the line up sooo much. It was during Christmas too. So I needed 5 a week or I'd be fired. Well I didn't care so I never asked anyone. Boss kept bitching at me and said "if you don't have 5 people signed up by this week you're fired." So I just quit because the job sucked ass anyways

Yes, they are. A blast to drive, I prefer the VR6/4Motion setup to the 2.0T most people opt for... but there is a substantial price difference. It's just a shame you can't get a VR6 with a manual transmission anymore.

I have been fired. It was probably the worst day of my life. First, you must know that during black friday my wife and her mother picked out an engagement ring for her. 5,000 dollar ring. They said it would be ready on December 12th. Fast forward to that day, which was a Monday, about half an hour before my shift had ended my boss called me and told me to come see him before I left. Do to a contract that had been terminated that had to let go of employees and I was one of them. I've never felt more like a failure than that day.

I got fired from a bank because I am a bad salesman. However they didnt fire me for that. They just waited for me to make a mistake, then fired me for that mistake, despite the fact everyone makes little mistakes like that from time to time.
