I dont know maybe thats been one of the reasons youve been striking out. I know plenty of women arent fans of shorter men. Then again, my brothers only 5'8 and has had all kinds of ass, granted he beats them and impregnates them.

I can do that if they really want me to.

Changing of your diet will only do so much then you have to

Exercise. exercise and more exercise.

And not on the computer.

All you need is a Hawaii Chair and an electric muscle stimulator.

Expending more calories then you take in=Weight loss.

So figure out your daily calorie intake (you can find this online), and then make sure you eat less then that by 200-300 calories, and if you are active you burn even more.

It's really not that hard to lose weight. It more about patience and discipline.

My weight bounces around. Right now I'm 5'11 240ish, but I can drop weight easily as last winter I dropped 25 pounds in a month and a half. My problem is I like regular pop, lazy, and eat and drink as if I am still playing high school hockey 5 days a week.

Supra and others, if you want, starting January 1st we can have a two month body fat% loss contest here on the boards. Everybody puts up 10-20 bucks and gets their bodyfat % figured out and whomever loses the most by March 1st wins the prize.

I think competition helps a little bit, and we'd have to be playing on honesty here, but I figured I'd throw it out there.

Also, don't try weight loss pills. All they contain is large amounts of caffeine and could possibly cause major heart problems. Trust me, I've done them and they don't work.

I lost 10 lbs on the college diet. Eat less and drink lots of water. Definitely works. I wasn't trying to lose weight but I did.

If it tastes good, don't eat it.

If it doesn't taste good, you're probably supposed to eat it.

I'm no nutritionist but that's probably a good rule to go by.

Is it that difficult to lay off regular pop? Like I said Im used to drinking diet because thats all my mom would get since fucking tab came out. I prefer it to regular, regular just tastes too damn sweet, also it cant be good for your teeth, not that the phosphoric acid bath from diet pop is good for them, but adding copius amounts of sugar to the mix isnt helping.

EDIT: since when did diet pop become sodium free too? I just looked at the label of the diet dr. pepper jewel brand knock off im drinking, and it has no sodium either.

LOL! I thought that was a beer for breakfast a beer for lunch and then a sensible dinner. (funny that would probably work for losing weight).

Supra the bottom line is this.....it takes time.

I changed my diet 2-3 years ago and through that process you just get accustomed to the new food you introduce into your diet and you actually end up not missing the old foods what so ever. In fact you lose cravings for the junky stuff (like soda) and you start craving the healthier things (like juices...but be careful with juices some are loaded with sugars etc). It just takes time. This is the same with solids as it is with liquids.

It's hard at first but you will feel the difference as you go and it gets sooo easy. I actually can not go a day now without a huge salad in front of me. I crave the things and I don't feel guilty when I eat a super big one either because I know it's loaded with the good stuff. I can actually fill up on vegetables and fruits now and enjoy it. Do I still spoil myself here and there? Of course I do. I go on weekend benders all the time. I actually have used it as a goal in the past to eat right. Eat right for 5-6 days then fucking spoil myself all to hell on Sat or Sun or both. It works. You need a goal and you need to reward yourself. And watch your carbs. Don't eliminate them but watch them. Esp breads. I find wraps work best for me when I am craving breads. Healthier too. And for **** sakes get rid of that bleached white flour crap. Whole wheat my man..WHOLE WHEAT. Not only is it better for you it fucking tastes so much better. One you get start eating whole wheat you will never go back to that bleaches white flour shit again. TRUST ME!!

You also do need to incorporate excersize as you said. I do fine with 45 minutes of weights in the morning then another 45 at night with cardio (mostly stationary bike and a lot of stretch excersises). That's not going to work for everybody but it has for me. Some days of course I do longer and do harder work outs but as long as I am doing at least 45 in the morning and 45 at night even if it really light the body keeps stimulated and it fights of fat better and hell just feel great in general. Find a routine that works for you!!! Don't buy into all these programs and shit they tell you on tv. Do what you enjoy and do it how you like. I am sure if I had a personal trainer he or she would shit bricks at some of the things I do. But it works for ME and that's all that counts. You gotta find what works for you. The bike is good but stationary bikes can get fucking boring and that's the threat you have with any excersize program it can get boring. You do have to find ways to mix it up and you will.

I can yap about this shit forever. I had to make major lifestyle changes. I was stuborn and it was hard and somedays it still is. But man I feel so much better. It's going to be hard Supra but **** if I can do it anyone can. I was the laziest shit in the world.

P.S. Supra......

Don't worry about all that counting callories crap right now. You will need to later and you should but when you start off don't go freaking out about callories etc. It will stress you out and complicate what you really should be doing. Just start substituting bad things for healthier things. Start an excersize program even a small one. You build on those things as you go. Don't jump into it thinking you will drop 50 lbs and be a new person in 3 months. It doesn't work like that. Start slow and allow yourself to ease into all the changes. You will see results and that will motivate you sooo much like it did me. And it becomes fun to be honest. And allow yourself to become cocky when you do start seeing results. **** man I am proud as shit for how far I turned myself around and I don't give a shit what anyone thinks if I go douchebag it up.

You went to ISU? I go there now. Prime Time is good but I don't think its up that late anymore because last time I tried to order out late it wasn't open. My go-to middle of the night/early morning pizza is Gumby's--their "pokey sticks" are orgasmic. Funny you mention White Castle. The kids here can't believe there's literally no 24 hour places open a place like that would be unbelievably successful especially Thursday through Sunday.

That's a great idea TJD. I would be in for a little competition of sorts. It keeps me motivated also. Motivation sometimes has to be the hardest thing. I am in a bit of a slump right now because I am under motivated. I'll be in for doing something like this. Sadly I don't need to really shed fat I need to put pounds on lol. I am a skrawny ******. 6 foot four srawny!! Supra you are at least in a good spot because losing is a lot harder than gaining lol. I am one of those guys that muscle men flick with their finger on the beach.
