Suarez is playing well this year. He is the top scorer in the EPL. However, he has a history of doing dumb shit. I also disagree about the EPL being the best league. It's the most competitive. Pretty much the top 5 or 6 teams have about the same level of quality. However, they always get their ass kicked by Liga and German teams. Evidenced in Champions league and Europa League.

Soccer is the fastest growing sport in the US. America is finally joining the rest of the world instead of standing in the corner like the overgrown little brother with a bad temper. Outside of rednecks, talk to most younger people and they're mostly into soccer.

I guess you've only been watching for a couple of years? It wasn't like that just a few years ago, and with the size of the EPL, the amount of top clubs they have (far more than the two in Spain and one in Germany), it will dominate again soon.
Take a look at country representation in the CL from the qtr finals stages onwards since 2000.

I dont enjoy soccer, but remember the average 3 hr nfl game only has 10 minutes of actual game play. So its hard to complain about soccers action.
And soccrr isnt ***, that's perpetuated by stupid highschool football coaches who need to feel more manly in front of teenagers.
Soccer is difficult and requires talent, much like football.

Absolutely. There's nothing wrong with not being into any sport; I find baseball to be boring but I don't feel the need to question the character of people who like it. Very weird.
Every time I read one of these macho "Soccer is a girly game" type posts, all I see is "I'm incredibly insecure about my penis and need to compensate by making sure everyone knows I like tough sports, not pansy Eurof@g sports".
