Yeah but it's pretty terrible. It feels like a bigger version of Mobile Web on older cell phones. There was a rumor a while back of them possibly implementing Google Chrome as their main browser. Then there was another one saying that the browser wouldn't be Chrome, but pretty similar to Chrome.

PS3. But that's just industry rumors. There were a few job listings out there that hinted at the development at a new PS3 browser that used Chrome's engine I think.

Any rumors of xbox ever getting a browser before the 720?

I had heard one last year during E3 time (June) but all they showed was Kinect stuff and the new Slim console. Haven't heard anything this year, but there are always surprises this time of year.

You Tube on XBox sounds good to me. Great idea putting that on consoles.

It'll still support motion controls, but not as the main control system. Similar to how the PS3 has the Move as an optional control system. It'll be backwards compatible with Wii games so motion controls will still exist, but they're going all out with a brand new unique controller with a touch screen/touch pad. Once E3 happens in a few weeks, we'll know everything there is to know about this. I'm curious what kind of online system they have to compete with LIVE and PSN. If they have something really awesome, I might be like you and get games specifically for this console.

I'm on the same boat. I was always a Nintendo guy back in the day. It's nice to see they're coming back with a console that you can play all of the big multi-plat titles. The two big issues for me on their next system will be online gaming, as you mentioned, and the controller.

Exactly. Sure the Nintendo brand basically sells itself, and they've had all the Mario games and Zelda games do very well along with all the fitness games, and made a ton of money on selling Wii's. But look at how much money they missed out on by not having games like Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto 4, Mass Effect 2, Assassins Creed and other huge AAA titles on their console. And I don't think anyone with multiple consoles goes out and says "You know, I think I'm gonna get COD and Madden on the Wii instead of the 360 or PS3".

Rumors floating around that the PS3 will be dropping in price soon. With E3 coming up, an announcement could be right around the corner. These rumors have started after Amazon revealed a $230 trade in value for your used PS3's. I've heard rumors about a price drop since January, but the rumors seem very strong at this point.

Nothing yet.
