Sony recently announced that select PSP games would be getting remastered in HD and brought to the PS3. Apparently Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is at the top of the list to be brought over.

Sounds awesome. Can't wait to see what it is.
I am waiting for the day that a new(GOOD) fighting game franchise surfaces. Hopefully with the reemergence of fighters someone will have the balls to try something new.

Good guess. According to Wikipedia there are 28 titles in the series to date. These include the main series, sequels and spin offs.

Former heads of Infinity Ward and Call of Duty creators Jason West and Vince Zampella started their own game studio after their fallout with Activision a while back. Their new studio, Respawn Entertainment, is apparently working on a futuristic sci-fi shooter. EA will publish their game.
