Agree, he's kinda lukewarm as an actor. Love the MIB trilogy though. Interested to see him in the upcoming 'Suicide Squad.'

Anyway, yeah really enjoyed this movie. Definitely did a good job capturing the psyche of a man desperate to fix things. Also had a few great moments of suspense (when he loses his dog). Only thing I found myself rolling my eyes at was the CGI (of course). But an admirable entry into this series based on Richard Matheson's novel. Really enjoyed 'Last Man of Earth' with Vincent Price. Ahead of its time IMO. And 'The Omega Man,' despite its campy flair, was good fun too.

I hated every aspect of that movie. It was a total cgi turd and took away from the actual Matheson novel which is fucking creepy and great. The movie shit on the story and Will Smith was a awful choice for Neville. Just awful.

If they made the movie how it was supposed to be, it would've been a character actor like Michael Shannhan

If you can grab a hold of The Guest I promise you, you won't be disappointed. It was a friggin blast and the end sequence was so 80s and perfect.

As for Netflix, yes.. I recommended the Babadook if you have not seen it yet! Very good and well done. Really dark though, just a heads up!

I loved the claustrophobic feel of that movie and builds some fantastic tension without seeing anything.

EDIT: John Dies in the End was a fantastic book. The movie does a pretty good job with it. It was written by one of the editors of Cracked magazine, so it is pretty darn funny too.
