Ok, as for Hoss, I don't see him going anywhere as many of you stated.

He is a fantastic two-way forward. I think besides the MCL sprain which was disclosed this playoff, I also think he also had a problem with a/his wrist(s). I have no real support to substantiate/corroborate my claim (other than watching him shoot) and it could be a residual effect of the knee.

Then when asked who the core of the team is he names Toews, Kane, and Hossa as examples. Marian Hossa will wear the Indian Head next season.

He may have said that but I'm still not going to believe it 100%. Stuff like this is said way too many times in sports and then a player is traded that was named as someone who wouldn't by the GM or manager.

Well for the right value any player is tradeable. I mean if top young prospect still on an entry level deal was offered I am sure the Hawks would move Hossa, but from what I gathered from that video is that the Hawks are not looking to unload him just for cap space and are not openly shopping him around. They feel he performed up to his contract last season and will continue to do so.
