I had “high and tight” or flat top hair cuts since I got out of high school and even then it was short for wrestling.

For the first time in my life I have hair touching my shoulders. Not a mullet, dispite my wifes best efforts to cut my bangs that touch my chin. I comb it all back anyway for work.

I stopped cutting my hair in March. I figure if Im gonna live on a sailboat then I should have hair like Captain Ron or Jack Sparrow. The truth is it’ll probably get cut the first week we actually live on the boat.
You're living my dream. Tell me about your sailboat. Where are you gonna go?

We just had an offer accepted and are under contract for a 2005 Lagoon 440 owners version, sailing Catamaran. Owners version means that its a 3 cabin instead of 4 cabins. The entire Starboard hull is dedicated to the owners... think master bedroom with a big bathroom and separate shower. The sea trial and survey is scheduled for Oct 11th. We should close by the end of October, quit my job in January and be sailing the Keys and Bahamas by March.

I’ll see if I can find pictures.

No need. I already know exactly what you are talking about. The Lagoon, Leopard, or Fountaine Pajot cats have always been my dream. Can we be friends IRL?

Lol.

This isn’t our boat but the same model and year. The owners side tour starts at 13:10

I used to have beautiful long hair but now it’s thinning. I made it to my late 30s at least with my hair. Probably because I never got married. Barely any grey hair either. #blessed

I have luxurious thick beautiful hair, like pretty much the direct opposite of bald. Not to humblebrag and/or embarrass the boys here with chit beta genes, but hey, you asked.

Ahhh to be in my youth again and endlessly optimistic about things like my hair, my knees, and my back.

To the point of the thread, I have noticed over the last five years that my hair has gotten thinner. Not bald per se but definitely less thick. I currently either get a close fade at the barber or just use my clippers at home and a one or two guard and clip it all off if I do not want to take a trip to the barber. If it is thin or receding you do not have to worry about it much with a close clip, yet you still have some hair unlike some fellas I know that go the bic route. I do not ever want to shave my head and face with the same device.

As a side note I have noticed that as my hair has thinned a bit over the last few years that my beard growing capabilities have have doubled up as my head hair growing capabilities have slowed.

Pretty much bald since 35, keep it clipped tight every couple weeks. Occassionally shave it. The other options are not an option IMO. Rock the goatee most of the time. Did let it grow out once for about 8 months and shaved the beard. Was not a good look.

Thanks to everyone posting on my thread. Very interesting responses. Myself I have a full head of hair although it's thinned and receded a bit as I grew older. Many hairdressers over the years have told me women would die for my hair. To me my thick mane was more bothersome than attractive. I only let it grow out some in the 70's when that was the style. But I hated long hair as it was bothersome while doing physical labor. I keep my hair short and my only vice now is using Just For Men shampoo to keep a salt and pepper look. otherwise I'm totally silver.

At 59 I still have thick hair. Been gray for 25 years but it's hair.

What kind of pussy shaves their head when they could grow an excellent skullet?

I feel like this will be me a couple years. Except: fatter and not as good looking.

I'm not bald..... yet. My hair is thinning though.

Hopefully it just stops at the thinning. I'm not sure I can pull off the bald look. I'm not the biggest guy, so people will think I'm like a skinhead or a cancer patient or some shit.

Being completely bald was rare in the 70's and early 80's. I mean by shaving what's left. I knew a guy who shaved his head just for the hell of it and people thought he had cancer.

Eat and Lift Heavy and get enough Sleep. You can do it. I'm 41 in a couple of weeks and getting pretty nice results later in life. IIRC you are much younger. Get SWOLE, believe in your goals and commit to the actions it takes to achieve them. I believe in you.
