Great postIn terms of purely career considerations, college is one avenue among many. I would argue that the non-career related benefits of college are the main point, but whatever. For pure career focus there are a lot of options that don't require college.
In terms of employment, a degree means that you did something difficult for 4 years and finished. That means a lot, but beyond that nobody really cares about your degree. Everyone knows that whatever you studied, they still are gon have to train you the same as everybody else.
