Nice. As far as gift ideas, I'm looking for something "remedial" that combines coding and art. My daughter is gifted artistically and something like that could really cement the tech side for someone who tends to speed through assignments just to create time to sketch random stuff...
Sphero is a winner. My friend highly recommends that and actually uses Sphero in the classes he teaches when he goes into schools. Little pricey (+$100) but a great coding tool for kids.
The other one she wants is "Boxer". It's pretty simple from what I can tell. Comes in black or blue. I believe Target sells them around $30
BTW, my fiance's daughter is 9 so either of these should work for your 8 year old. She's super artistic as well. Similar mindsets it sounds like.
Did you go on to get a degree post hs?
I did
I worked full time for a company that offered tuition reimbursement. I was only able to attend 6 classes a year so I didn’t graduate with a degree until age 26 but paid $0 and had no loans to pay off.
Now I have 2 children and have opened 529 plans for both.
What field are you in?
Won't speak to brett, but I can say that I've had mixed returns.cool, anything to add about the cost/investment, ROI, field of study, etc as it pertains to the thread and your personal experience?

Likewise.
PS, do YOU know what Michael's degree/field of study was for? What he used it for vocationally/professionally? (I forgot that asking direct questions is not really a good way to have a convo with him)

He does sports memorabilia as a side hustle.Could have sworn he was a small business owner, so I'm assuming he was a business major. With his other job, I imagine he minored philosophy of delivery.

Although he doesn't know it yet, Michael is the highest ranking General in God's army.
Depending on whomst you ask, one of his previous positions was being the direct liaison between his people and God.

Sorry, sure.
I was blessed, my parents covered my costs. If I had to borrow every dollar and had no parental support and no scholarships, I would have been in debt for roughly 40-48K and would have been debt free from college loans two years later as I lived at home after graduating. I have an BS in MIS from Lewis University.
Neat. How are you applying the degree to your fruit?
Can you re-phrase your question please?
