fuckin can't stand women that are incapable of expressing themselves clearly, with words, in a non-confrontational manner.

See, here's the thing about that. That's actually how I operate. A lot of men say they want that but really can't handle it. Then you end up being labeled as the crazy ***** or the chick who wants too much too fast or the girl who is a stuck up c-word.

So I believe I have solved the problem he kept bugging me so I decided to try just putting a sign on my desk (as they usually have us do to show if we're on break, at lunch, on a project, very busy, etc) and I put one that said "if my headphones are in, please do not disturb".

I expected it would be an easy way out and that the dude would just leave me alone but it did not work and he pestered me to take off my headphones and asked if that sign was about him and this other dude he goes on smoke breaks with, who is actually a good work friend of mine. I told him he was half right and that I don't mind the other guy at all because I enjoy having appropriate, professional conversations with him. He looked a bit confused at first but has left me alone since

He still goes out of his way to walk by my desk and sadly glare at me but I've just been ignoring that and enjoying the silence

Thank you guys for all of the advice! Now that I've planted that seed of "you are inappropriate and unprofessional", it'll be much easier for me to tell him to F off if he starts coming at me again.
