Lol I'd love to sock him in the face. He's so creepy that it actually pisses me off every time he comes to my desk. He just came by for a visit and asked why I looked so angry. I said I was in the middle of something and did not want to be interrupted. So he continued to stand there and ask mundane questions.

you can't beat around the bush. This is about setting boundaries. repeat "(name), I don't like your lack of boundaries, please stay out of my space in the future. I don't like you."


This will be more successful with a single witness to humiliate him.

If this does not work, make a scene or got to HR.

where is the boundaries and the honesty? "you bother me." "you upset me." "you disturb me when you come into my space and disrespect my boundaries and my things." "your annoying"

every time he asks it sounds like you diffuse the situation and avoid conflict. I am a conflict avoider to, but you have to come up with a way to set your boundary because it is being violated.

Usually it is best to go straight to the point, "(name), you don't need to come into my space during work. Its disruptive, childish, and I don't like it."


Being direct is a skill, and usually it is respected though it takes practice. I am working on it too, its hard.

It is hard. I think that since I can be so sensitive that I think I'm going to hurt the feelings of others when I'm direct when in reality, they'll just take it on the chin and move on. I always think about how I'd feel if I were being told what I'd like to say before I say it, causing me to be overly-cautious when communicating with others.
