Watson is currently slightly behind Trubisky for the year overall IMO. They are both top 1/2 of the NFL and knocking at top 10 status right now and that's awesome. Everyone and his mom expected Watson to be much better than Mitch early and it was useless to compare them last year.

Wentz has 15 TD's
Mahomes, Brees, and Goff also have 3 of the best RB's in the league to take pressure off of them...Their HC and OC's are also much better than Watson.
