I know why i got fat.

**** fat acceptance...

Mane, i never realized how fat i be got. I be got big arse shoulders, thick chest, some mini guns as arms n i never noticed how big me mid section be got.....me legs always be cut enough.. i knew i was gaining weight.. i just called it daddy fat.. being a dad not working out like i once did.. a fat wobble around da block n to da park seemed like exercise..

i was in some sort of fat smog of denial or something. idk what it was.. well not until i realized the fems actually got to me mentals.. dis fat acceptance i bought into apparently.. i got the keg to proves dis....

ive now gone to two a days.. but in reality its just one workout in a sense.. two equal one decent one...i need two to make one atm.. so out of shape i is.. lil muskles n tendons be a lil bitchish atm so i aint trying to hurt meself by overworking dem in one session. ..eventually, i will get both workouts where they need to be.. but keeping two intense ones..

**** not getting on da scale.. imma weigh me fat arse every few days at the heaviest time of the day... not in the morning after i wake up.. trying to lie to meself.. but at 6 pm after i eats dinner and done dranked a gallon of water.

**** you fat.. i do not accept you anymore...

what is this blood over intent.. i tried it on a new project..nothing to do with fat..i will see how blood on ink works out.. i added measuring stick to it .... a goal by dec 1 dis yurr

Have you considered intermittent fasting? You should give some consideration if you want to lose weight

So people that use this and eat 2 meals, lets say lunch at noon and dinner at 8 (maybe a snack in-between). Then then fast from 8 pm to bed time and then skip breakfast. This works well for overweight and out of shape people who do not have a serious strength training program at the gym. It works well for them as long as they still are in a calorie deficit for the entire day. Because if you are not, it is physically impossible to lose weight due to the law of thermodynamics.

People in good shape who are trying to get in great shape and are working out 5-6 days a week at the gym probably need to take in protein and carbs in the morning and evening to ensure they are not losing muscle.

The trick to the short term extreme diets is to set them up when you are resting from the gym. After every 8 week lifting cycle I take two weeks off from the gym or do very light work during those two weeks. So if I need to cut I use those two weeks to do it

Don't think that's how it works. People who do intermittent fasting eat 1 meal a day and basically want to go 20-22 hours without eating.

Calorie deficit = weight loss. Eat less, and healthier if possible. That's it. Cardio speeds up weight loss because you burn the calories off faster. Some people are dumb and think, "well if I eat 3,000 calories of healthy food opposed to 2,000 calories of not healthy food, I'll lose weight." which isn't true at all. (depending on how many calories you need obviously.)

Just use a calorie calculator online to get a rough estimate of how many calories your body needs to maintain it's weight then eat the amount that will lose 1lb or 2lbs a week, depending on your goal.

I "fast" in a sense that I don't usually eat my first meal until the afternoon. Like 2pm or later. My body is never hungry in the morning either. Been like that my whole life, kinda weird. I don't really follow any "diet" out there. I just eat a lot of healthy fats and protein. Been cutting and trimming weight for the past few months. I'm at 175-178 right now.

and **** "fat acceptance". If you're fat and you don't care, then great whatever. But if you're fat and try to make some stupid, "accept me for who I am!" statement, then go kick rocks. or eat them, whatever.

edit: I was also reading an article that was showing how it doesn't matter when you eat because your body doesn't work on a 24 hour day like our lives do. They had people eat throughout the day, afternoon-evening the most, at night the most, etc. and they all came back basically the same with the people eating the most at night losing a little more weight.

All in all, you don't have to eat freakishly healthy to lose weight. Just set a calorie goal, eat according to that, try not to eat garbage, exercise when you can and you'll lose weight. Works for me at least.

Some people might do that. But when the term intermittent fasting is mentioned, the theory behind it is 14-16 hours of fasting. Like an 8 pm to noon type thing.

ive thought about fasting for mental n other health reasonings but not for losing fat. i was going to fast awhile back but moved on to other things and forgot about that mental experiment. now that im burning cals, building back some other muscle groups n sweating guud.. i aint fasting..

well i usually eat 2 times a day now with late unhealthy snacks... i need to get back into breakfast..... back in me glory days of training n being in me top shape.. i was eating 5-6 times a day. but i was also training like a professional athlete for no reason other than to get in the best shape of me life.

I do this diet for two weeks when I need to cut but it’s not for anyone with anxiety. It’s the most stressful two weeks you can imagine

so lots of meat?

my protein is up... but i doubt i go that high..

right now im more concerned with building smaller muscle groups i aint worked with forever now.. all them smaller muscles supporting joints etc and da such fer sustained n long explosion training sessions ill be getting to in the near future. i will modify me diet in a few weeks or more to maximize that aspect..

eventually the most protein ill get will be about 100-120g per day if i eat 5-6 times a day.. 20 grams of it at a time..

back in the day that would be like

1 3-4 eggs.. mostly egg white veg omelette wiff salsa, sumtimes with a yolk fer mo flav.
2 yogurt/ peanut butter
3 can tuna or handful of nuts
4 chicken breast
5 boiled eggs or nuts
6 (optional) powder shake or protein bar - usually tired of eating anything by 6..

mixed in with some carbs n other high dens vitamins greens..

There are many many ways to implement IF into weight loss plans. The only thing you have to is pick an “eating window” then don’t eat every other time but that. A few tips I’ve read about though are:

1)work your way to an 18 hour fast as soon as you can. The real fasting magic happens after 18 hours.

2) work to a “clean” fast to get better results. During your fast only drink water, plain tea, and/or black coffee. Some people say anything under 50 calories or artificially sweetened zero calorie drinks won’t break the fast. They may still get results but a true “clean” fast will deliver better results

I’ve been at 16:8 for a while and have seen some changes. I work nights though so trying to fit an IF schedule around my work and family schedules is a challenge. I haven’t quite figured out what I’m going to do but I’m happy with how I’m progressing so far

Good post, I would like to add that myfitness pal app is a good way of keeping track of your caloric intake.
