The Walking Dead needs more hot female characters... I know they go for realism, but cmon break it and add some sex appeal.... every Zombie Apocalypse needs sex appeal :D

Funny, I often compare women and the men they date/marry to zombies.... cause they rip you apart, you become part of the horde and next thing you know you are trying to pull other dudes in to the horde.

Bitches be dangerous.... like zombies

I think the reason people start to hate The Walking Dead is the fact that the character development and stories and relationships have taken over the show, so now its less a zombie movie in the form of a TV show and more of a TV Drama set in the middle of the zombie apocalypse.

If you look at how season 1 went, with Rick waking up in the hospital and traveling around, then gets in trouble in Atlanta and meets up with a group.... then they go back and eventually decide to try and seek out salvation.... it was all very much like the zombie movies people think of.... but they had to get beyond that stuff, cause a TV show covers a heck of alot more than 2 hours.

I do think they need to shift a little and make the zombies be a bigger element in the story, but I still really enjoy the show.

I think the other big negative with this show last season and for much of season 2 is that they have made several characters in the show unlikable IMO.... people are used to heroes and villains.... but this show goes for realism.... Rick is not just some knight in shining armor who saves his princess Wife and rides off into the sunset.... all the characters have serious flaws that make them darker people especially in the context of the zombie apocalypse. I think people get turned off by a show when they don't have characters they can love and hang on to.... the characters who you count on surviving are the darkest and hardest to like at times.

I think people who thought the show would be a zombie movie turned TV series are flaking off.

Meh. I'm and fine with character driven shows.

The characters in WD though just become such caricatures. They are cliche and overly dramatic as ****. Not to mention the dialog is terrible and the acting is not good.

Like the back and forth with the cop dude, his woman, his best friend, and the kid... was just so stupid.

They try to be a drama but its like the writing is done with sledgehammers.

I watched Battlestar from the mini-series to the end and I loved that show all the way through.

Thats another one though.... it was an intense like political drama set in space on a rag-tag fleet of the survivors of humanity. It did not include a ton of space battles or action, it was heavy on drama and characters and suspense. I loved every minute, but I remember people saying they hated that show and I came realize, dey just wanted to see da space shipz shoot da big guns, derp.... lol

I think timothy olyphant is hilarious. I actually haven't watched Deadwood but anyone who liked that should like him in Justified

Ray Donovan just ended it's first season but I thought it was really good. It's interesting because despite being fictional that shit actually goes on in real life so it's kind of cool to see that side of things.

Have been getting dissapointed by broadchurch. For some reason, I just don't really care about the characters or the murder mystery. Drama not workin on me.

My wife and son have gotten into Smallville. I don't recommend it but there are 10 seasons to fill your time.

Is that the superman thing?

Yes season 1 is superman (clark kent) starting freshman year of high school. He manages to make the same personal mistakes over and over again as he saves people from various humans that were mutated by kryptonite meteorite rocks. Honestly the show is mind numbingly repetitive.
