I predict Snell will be the breakout player for the Bulls this year!

Yeah, I saw this. :smh: Kirk will be Thib's downfall.

That's a bit much. He likes Kirk and Kirk will be on his coaching staff one day. But if Thibs has a fall from grace, it won't be because of Hinrich.

In reality if Thibs falls, it'll be because this team underachieved in the playoffs. We don't know for sure what that benchmark is. Majority of people think its Finals or bust this year.

Things may have gotten so bad...he may have to win it all to keep his job.

I'm not so sure I was being overly literal, but I do think it will be interesting to see how Kirk's return goes. I think Snell's brief showing at playing good with heavy minutes should be enough for him to keep getting minutes.

If Thib's goes right back to playing Kirk heavy minutes and sits Snell and Niko all of a sudden, I say yes, Thib's is going to hear some flak. The Bulls need shooting to excel in the playoffs, imo, and Snell and Niko give them that. Kirk doesn't, imo.

I'd personally even try to get McD some minutes, but I'm ok if that doesn't happen right away as long as we're getting shooting from somewhere else, like Dunn, Snell, and Niko.

I personally see Kirk as a 3rd option now behind Snell. I'd like Kirk and Brooks to share the b/u PG minutes depending on matchup and who's hot. I can handle Kirk getting b/u minutes if he's not hurting the lineup he's in. He runs the offense a little better than Brooks, imo, so again, it's a matchup thing there.

I guess we'll see moving forward. :dunno:

Has that ever occurred? A coach getting fired after losing the Finals?

I mean Jackson left after winning in 98, but his contract was up. Jackson also said then he'd never coach again (lol).

And this is really my position on Thib's. I actually Love Thib's as a defensive coach. I do question his offense a little, but mostly his stubbornness. Sometimes you just can't get more 'effort' out of a player. Sometimes you just have to try something different.

Where there's smoke, there's fire, and the rumors of a stressed relationship with management most likely have some element of truth. Eventually, the same ol result for Thib's will be the final straw, imo.

If I had my way, Thib's would lose some of his stubbornness, and get the guys rolling on all cylinders heading into the playoffs for a change.

This seasons failure will alll be laid on Paxson's failure to do a damn thing to win a championship that was there to be taken. **** him. **** him and Reinsdorf for not firing him a long time ago,

THe best thing that could happen to Thibs would be to get fired and get away from the shitty people above him. He is the only thing that has kept this team from being an under .500 team without Rose. **** Paxson and Reinsdorf.

Terrible GM. NO improvement on the roster despite a winnable title. The blame will go on Thibs which Paxson wants in the first place. Job security that way. Don't let thibs get the credit, after all it is ORGANIZATIONS that win championships not players or coaches. Seems like we've heard this from a few other assholes before.
