A few things.

1) Kevin Warren does not want to share the spotlight with a guy who was there before him.

2) “We’re going to take the North and never give it back.”

3) Complete failure on the rebuild. The same record now as the teardown year.

And the biggest one.

4) The timeline.

The Bears are not going to extend Poles just to extend him, the way they did Pace.

They’re not going to hire a new head coach with the GM on a lame-duck one year deal. It just doesn’t happen.

This all appears to point to the Bears moving on from Ryan Poles at the end of the season.

And you can argue the Panthers are playing better than the Bears.
Sure, but that doesn’t mean it was a bad trade for the Bears. It netted them Caleb, and I think he will become a bonafide franchise QB.

The problems have been most of the other moves he’s made. Claypool, Nate Davis, roster construction, etc.

Oh so we no longer like King Poles?
I called it. Poles who was completely untouchable by Bears fans would get turned on if Caleb wasnt everything he was hyped up to be. Fans are so predictable.

I'll add a couple things to that list. Kevin Warren has a prior relationship with Lions assistant GM Agnew.

Media over the past few weeks have already been greasing the wheels for Poles's exit.

I don't think this has anything to do with caleb, he's completely failed to build a competitive team since he's been here. Most of his picks aren't big difference makers, when you can't draft great players and have to rely on trading and giving up picks you don't deserve the job I would hope bears fans have turned on him rather than accepting more bs. He has absolutely did nothing to make our line better which was was our biggest issue when he arrived.

The irony here is that this has nothing to do with Caleb and you are absolutely correct. Anytime is cranky because he was a huge Justin Fields fan.

The reason people turned on "King Poles" was terrible coaching hires and neglecting both offensive and defensive lines.

Anyone saying otherwise is just trying to sell their own narrative.
