i remember hearing about a sign and trade for luol deng at the begining of the year. do you think the pistons are still interested? If so, i'd hope we could acquire prince. i love his defense. i think he might be one of the better members of the pistons. I actually wouldn't mind starting john salmons at the 2 and prince at 3. prince has a decent 3 shooting at .406. i duno. what are your thoughts? espn has him listed at 13 ppg. that's not amazing numbers... so maybe the pistons would apt to revitalize their roster with a new youthful player.

another question is whether we would trade a 24 year old question for a 29 year old prince. Rose certainly isn't at his peek yet. maybe we ought to hope deng matures into a better player alongside rose.

I don't remember hearing about any sign and trade with regards of Luol Deng and the Pistons.

I don't remember a whole lot of buzz on sign and trades involving Deng at all. I think someone may have mentioned, that the contract the Bulls gave Deng, that the price was set by the amount the Utah Jazz were willing to give Deng as part of a sign and trade, but that's it.

Regardless, I would say there is a slim chance that the Pistons would trade Tayshaun Prince for Luol Deng. Prince is better and has a much friendlier contract.

i googled this. it was the first article i could find.

next year as unrestricted free agents; this includes Ben Gordon and Luol Deng. League sources suggested that the Lakers, Pistons, Heat and Jazz have all had discussions with Luol Deng's camp about the framework of a sign-and-trade. Luol's camp would not comment on the situation, stating they did not want to negotiate in the media, but did confirm that talks were on going and that Luol, after the first round of talks, wants to remain "loyal" to the Bulls

The Bulls should definately do that trade if it is offered but right now I don't think they would want Deng. And if you wanna see if Deng can come back and do well then keep him next year and then revisit the trade before the deadline, you never know. Prince would also help our weak interior defense and rebounding.

If you are going to the game tonight, bring school supplies to be entered into a raffle to win a signed jersey.

Oh and the 'Hawks will win 2-1. Havlat will score for the Wild and Hossa with an assist for the 'Hawks and the "fun" debate of "we should have kept" Havlat will renew!

Both JT and Hossa missed practice. Hossa was in practice yesterday so the under the weather is probably right. JT how ever is getting over something that happened during the Detroit game.

'Hawks twitter stated that Hossa was sick, sorry I should have added that to my post above.
