So if your going to use AV as some end all be all then I think it would be perfectly fine to use PFF as a counter.
Bates is hypothetically the "starter" at center but he can just as easily play right guard. Pryor made $1M last season, I guarantee the Bears can afford to bring him back and would be wise to do so over spending $20M for a guy getting extra credit for what Patrick Mahomes does.
Braxton has missed a third of each of the last two seasons, his PFF numbers are estimates not truly comparable. Same goes with Ryan Bates who only has one season as a starter.
And Stanley, who is older, has missed significantly time 4 of the last 5 years. Except for last year, his contract year, when he was magically healthy all year.

As I already stated, Stanley has played more games than Braxton Jones has since 2022 when Braxton entered the league. Stanley has shown that he is healthy again after playing all 17 games. We can't say that for BJ 1.0...
Were not being asked to spend big $$$ on Braxton and even if you want to ignore Stanley's injury history for first two of the last five years. One "contract year" doesn't erase the previous two for an older and declining player who probably won't be better then Jones next year, especially for that price.

I think you’re explaining exactly why the Chiefs may not re-sign Trey. Everyone seems convinced they will, but he isn’t some slam dunk superstar, especially if the team is resetting the market to keep him. Chiefs aren’t in the business of market setting contracts unless the guy is undeniably special. But I guess we’ll see.
