I know, right?

(I think you are trying to hookup with Bearmick with this post though...)

Hah. I've always been interested in European countries. I would've loved to be raised somewhere like that in a school system that would teach me a couple different languages and where I'd have the opportunity to jump on a train or in a car and drive over to another country and another culture. I hate our isolation from all other places. Canada and Mexico just don't excite me.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
I chose Florida. Took my kid to Disney for the holidays in '98.
Going down water slides on Christmas day. It was 89 degrees.
Ten days later, the second worst snow storm in Chicago history.
I worked for a NW suburb and had enough, plow it yourself.

I hear ya buddy! I might eventually end up in western NC (I like the mountains, having mild seasons would be kind of nice)....ideally I'll be able to pull off living both places and going back and forth. Back to work.

I feel like everyone wants to be foreign, like Americans want to be Europoean, because it's "exotic".

Well that's silly because if I were European I would not be exotic to myself or my fellow Europeans. I would only be exotic to Americans and people from other regions than myself.

I appreciate the loyalty in the South but could do without the "Muricans" if you know what I mean

Sure they do, it's called southern hospitality.
