Sorry... but the refs cheated the Bills with that decision that Allen didn't get the 1st down when the replay clearly shows the ball crossed the line to gain.
Always play well enough that the refs can't decide the outcome of the game.

They also missed blatant face mask call on Buffalo. Pacheco had his head turned around BEFORE the one that they did call later in game.

He didn’t get charged because it was a flimsy case at best with just circumstantial evidence. They would have never been able to prove it was an actual “race.” If I did it? Yeah I’m probably getting charged. But Carter would have had the best legal representation that would have tore it to shreds.
It was a very weak VH case. Reckless was the correct charge. The break he got came with the sentence. But as I’ve said, I think that was agreed to by all parties so he could get drafted and pay out all of those civil damages.

What was wrong with Joe Brady yesterday?
Easy, Steve Spagnoulo out coached him and has been one of the most underrated defensive minds in the NFL the past 15 years.

He was the DC in New York with the Giants when they beat the 18-0 Patriots.

Spags is another one of those elite coordinators but awful head coach types. Waiting until the game is on the line to run a corner blitz was brilliant.

Fangio, is the other and the hope is Dennis Allen settles into a similar dominant role here in Chicago.

If he can get this moribund group to play well given the lack of a game changer on the front seven of this defense maybe there's hope that Johnson and Allen pair together a long time for a lot of success in a wide open NFC.

There were 2 other passengers in the vehicle LeCroy drove that survived who could have easily testified that they were Street Racing with Carter. So wouldnt say they could never prove it. It would boil down to what those 2 said and how credible they were as witnesses. He also has several speeding tickets that showed a pattern. Think the below was the bigger issue as to why it did not proceed.

Yeah I think the reality is it was better for Carter to go to the NFL to make money to pay off the lawsuits than to throw him in jail.

Why does any of this shitmatter anymore?

The case was decided already. If you feel this passionately about it to take it up with the state's attorney who made the deal see if you can have them fired or have them lose their election. Arguing endlessly about THIS on the board is asinine.

You are one of the jackassess that keeps crying about passing on Carter. The draft is over. If you feel this passionately about Carter, go be an Eagles fan where sucking him off daily makes more sense.

Arguing endlessly about this on the board is asinine. Jalen Carter is not Bear. Darnell Wright and Gervon Dexter are.

If you and others want to stupidly **** about us passing on Carter then it is only fair game you are reminded why the Bears passed on him. Next time you want to deepthroat Carter remember Devin Willock and Chandler LeCroy. No amount of sacks, QB hits, TFL or pressures will raise them from the dead.

I am responding to people that keep crying about Carter. If they stopped crying about Carter then there will be no debate. If they want to be asinine and continue to cry about Carter then I am happy to be asinine and keep reminding them about Chandler LeCroy and Devin Willock.

Or we can all move the **** on and worry about actual Bears players.

wut

Obviously bias, as I said. He hurts your ass. Not difficult to tell. No one is trying to gain an advantage, whatever that means.
Doesn't hurt my ass. God you are ignorant. And I don't say that, just to say it. You are too ignorant to understand. Go to the Georgia lawyer and ask him what gaining advantage means. It's time for me to get rid of all the Trailer trash and put them on ignore. Which means ignore the ignorant. You actually think you know what you're talking about when it comes to legal talk, because you heard some Georgia lawyer spew bs.

I’m not going to repeat the whole conversation on why Carter wasn’t criminally charged with VH. I’ve worked hundreds of cases also, probably thousands. And I will bet that you have worked a grand total of zero criminal cases in the state of GA.

I’ve never met Carter, and frankly, I understand why the Bears passed on him and was and am happy with the Wright pick.

My only agenda is analyzing this case and evaluating how it comports with GA law re: the VH statute. As I’ve done with other cases charged with that same statute.

It doesn’t sound like you’ve gone through that analysis here. I hope for your clients’ sakes you did for all of the hundreds of other cases you’ve worked.
correct no GA cases.

If you are this worked up over a couple posts where you engaged me and then refused to actually discuss the specifics of the case, then yes your ass is extremely hurt.

I also just said I wasn't trying to gain an advantage either. Has nothing to do with legal talk, just to do with how poorly you articulate your points.

Put me on ignore, take your ball, and head on home. Better than me having to read your child-like bitching.

The difference is you're not talking football. You're talking about the justice system which is no longer relevant.

I know. It was pretty obvious after reading your posts. I don’t think you’re a lawyer. Or you are one but you don’t believe in details, as you said he should have been criminally charged, and yet…he was. I think you’re the one spewing bs, not me.

Anyway, back to football talk.

Do you remember when Jim Boeheim ran over someone on the highway, and ESPN had the totally awkward "moment of silence" for the dead guy at the VERY NEXT SYRACUSE HOME GAME?! I thought that was about the dumbest, most tone-deaf thing I had ever seen (until remydat's posts in this thread). "And now a moment of silence for Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez..."

No I am talking football because I am explaining to your dumbass why the local football team didnt draft him.

Virtually no one questioned his ability on the field so you bringing up how good he is on the field is stupid. He can have 20 sacks in a season and the reason the Bears did not draft him is because those 20 sacks don't change the fact Chandler LeCroy and Devin Willock are dead.

No amount of stats or Super Bowls changes the fact that the Bears didnt want him on the team because he contributed to the deaths of 2 people. How do you propose he can erase that fact? Is there some magical world where sacks can ressurect people from the dead.

The Bears are not obligated to put the same price tag on life that you do. Perhaps you should just accept they simply value life more than you do.
