No it won't. The Cubs had at best a 60% chance of winning this series according to multiple projections. Losing to a team that should win at least 40% of the time is not a "choke." You are simply an emotional avalanche of stupid narratives right now.

regardless of your stats...the overwhelming majority of fans/writers/players, would consider this a choke.

This series is the same as the giants series.....a complete mismatch in the batters box.....take out the 9th inning of game 4 vs sf and maybe the 8th inning of game 1 vs la our at bats have been truly pathetic......very few hits but worse very few hard hit balls.

Sf was locked in and making great contact after game 1 and lad has done the same all series.

Tomorrow is the series.....go down 3-1 and Kershaw is coming out for game 5 to end it.....and if somehow he doesn't he's coming out of the pen in wrigley in either game 6 or 7 or both ala Josh beckett

"Jake, tell us again about how you're not going to give us a hometown discount, OK?"

Jake can walk...Cubs need to find a guy who can pitch in the postseason, and its not Jake.

Cubs have 4 hits in the last 15 innings. Nice

The Cubs look like ass. They've looked like ass offensively throughout the playoffs.

Why are we even talking about the Manager right now? He is a non factor we aren't competing. The story of this postseason is Cubs can't hit. Splashes of magic yes but they aren't consistently hitting. It's that simple and the Manager can't really do anything about it.

Soler called out on ridiculous pitch.

Grandal takes much better pitch with two strikes and it's a ball - follows with HR on a hanger.

If you throw a curve, and it bends back toward the plate a lot, it is a strike, even if a) it never catches the plate, and b) is 6" above the belt.

But throw a fastball in the same spot? Ball all day.

A home plate ump can decide a game, and this guy is determined to do so.

I keep expecting them to break out, and in a big way. But not tonight.

God, umps suck. He's clearly out, and the ump can't get it right from a foot away.

Well, Angel Hernandez, so that explains it.
