Datsyuk out 2-3 weeks...just had arthroscopic knee surgery.
Pretty much a wash with no toews and no datsyuk...maybe a slight advantage to the hawks since scott will be on defense...lol

the best thing wiz ever did was the intermission video where he played a bell hop at a hotel, in full hockey gear.

I'm trying to decide who's a bigger loss for their team: Datsyuk or Toews.
In terms of pure ability, of course, it'd be Datsyuk. But that's not all that Toews brings. Not just leadership either, but he does a ton of little things on the ice very well. He wins faceoffs. He wins board battles.
Does Datsyuk kill penalties? (I'm asking because I don't actually know)
I worry about the chemistry of a line of Sharp-Morrison-Kane. With Toews splitting those two, they're magic. Throwing BMo in there could make a difference.
I know that Datsyuk is an incredible player, but it always seems like Detroit has another guy to step in and fill the void. They still have Zetterberg, Franzen, Hudler, Bertuzzi, etc. with the ability to fill the net.
Granted, the Hawks still have Hossa, Kane, Sharp, and others. I think I'm gonna call this one a draw.

I dont fucking get it! what is this fascination with john scott? put him in on the 4th line against the blues and the nucks and the rest of the games make him sit upstairs in the skybox.

The Red Wings fourth line is made up of guys who can skate and play hockey.
Thank god Datysuk isn't out there tonight. I could just imagine an icing call with Scott on the ice and the Wings getting the greatest match up of the century.

he is so slow! and he can barely skate. we see a lot of "real" dmen getting burned like keith and seabrook, this is almost laughable. I dont get q's logic i really dont.

Surely your point is well taken and ultimately I agree this is a game for him to watch from the box because of the match-up, he actually doesn't get burned/killed by Detroit.
