How do you know that the CLippers wouldn't want Rose? You don't know that. They also have Blake Griffin who did a stupid fucking thing to an equipment manager and is in hot water with the Clippers and the league. Why not work something out for a Griffin/Rose trade with maybe Gibson as part of the deal also to replace Griffin? Makes sense to me. I would really enjoy watching a Rose, Paul backcourt battle it out with GS's great back-court.

Roe and Aldredge would be an interesting duo in San Antonio. That "Spurs do not make trades is bogus". They are on their last legs for a couple of their key stars and will have to re-build.

Yeah they are. The Spurs certainly. The Clippers certainly. Absolutely the Lakers. Everyone right now is bum-rapping Rose but this is merely a sports board with a limited number of people involved. But Rose is becoming again a good player and good players have value. ANd he still has some star power attached to him and there is still a POSSIBILITY that he can once again be an all-star. He is also going to be playing for a contract so that motivation can be significant.
