People really need to stop hating on Lucas. Let that Denver game from 2010 go.

Idiots hate on him for that. I'm not a Lucas fan because he tends to jack up bad shots alot & is not a very good passer. That's a bad combo for a PG. This was a CAREER game for him. Forget the Wiz game. My 9yr old niece could score 20 on that team. I'm happy for him. He showed some great heart & toughness tonight.

As I've said before, this team can beat Miami and they showed it tonight.

Everyone is ready to crown Miami because of lebron and Wade and dismiss the Bulls. They showed they are for real and it's even sweeter that they did it without Rose.

And how about Johnny Buckets? He showed up big time tonight. I hate his shot selection and selfish play sometimes, but tonight he had a chip on his shoulder and he played like it.

Great win by the Bulls and those 7 votes for Miami can suck it.

It's Bulls, now I want my cookie. That will make this day complete.

Nah.Anyone saw* that this team can beat the Heat without Rose.So maybe this is a huge step back for the MVP award.

*it was a secret for a long time between me and some guys who can understand when a team plays superb team basketball without looking only at superstars

Its one game...it was enjoyable to watch, it was a great performance by the team and especially the coaching staff...and that's it. Improbable wins happen in a season...every season.

I am sure Thibs is concerned about certain aspects of this victory as am I.

This doesn't mean the Bulls win a title, doesn't mean that the Bulls have gained an edge on the Heat, it means they beat the Heat in a regular season game. It would have been the same if the Bulls lost by 30. Another regular season game...

Agree. But it was kind of a statement win.Now people will take us more seriously.

"These guys can beat the favorite for the title without their best player and their starting SG,and they have a 35-9 record!WOW"

I am sure this phrase will be said a lot until we meet them again in the ECF probably.

The heat may fear us a bit more.Combine this fear with the pressure they have from the media and you have a great advantage for the bulls.

Because the Bulls will be the underdog. That means they won't have the pressure on their shoulders. They will only have to get out there and play their game.

Agreed but it sure didn't feel like a regular season game & the players certainly didn't play like it was. It was a HUGE win for the fact alone that the bench, & team overall, gained an incredible amount of confidence from this game. That could pay off big come playoff time.
