Agreed but it sure didn't feel like a regular season game & the players certainly didn't play like it was. It was a HUGE win for the fact alone that the bench, & team overall, gained an incredible amount of confidence from this game. That could pay off big come playoff time.

Yeah remember how big that season sweep of the Heat was last year come playoff time?

This site must have alzheimers.

This game means nothing for the playoffs.

2 straight nights of Lebron getting clowned in the 4th while guarding inferior opponents.

I don't want to hear anyone saying Lebron can shut down Rose ever again.
Odd.

So JLIII hitting a fadeaway over Lebron somehow negates the visual evidence of Lebron clown suiting Rose last season in the playoffs and in the game earlier this season?

Delusional fan is delusional.

He is a heat fan.

Actually I'm not.

Uhhh.. No. Try again.

Back pedalling off of what? I picked the Heat to win. I'm not backpedalling off anything.

But keep thinking this win means anything in the grand scheme of things.

The two best teams in the NBA played each other and one of them didn't have their best player and somehow still won.

It means plenty. Keep thinking this win means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Ok.

Still doesn't mean shit come playoff time...or even if they met them two days from now.

I'm on the side that thinks this doesn't mean much except more distance between us and the Heat in the standings, which is a good thing. Last year, the Heat didn't have LeBron James and nearly beat the Bulls in the UC anyway. Regular season is just regular season but I'm happy about the win nonetheless.

This doesn't have the same impact as the crying game last year...anybody remember that? Heat crying in the locker room? We went from that to Rose not being able to sleep all summer. Playoffs are a different animal.

But its kind of unbelievable to me that people jump to such conclusions after one win. Kind of like the whole "ignore Lebron's historic season which stacks up with the greatest seasons in nba history and lets give Rose the MVP because he hit a game winning shot against the Buckx" thing that was going on last week. Hilarious.

YES, Lebron shut down Rose in the ECF last year. Using what JL3 did to say that didn't happen last season is senseless to me. And it wasn't just physical, it was psychological. He trash talked to Rose the whole series and got in Rose's head. THAT is why Rose couldn't sleep at night.

And I continue to say Bulls fans vilify the wrong guy. Wade is the ultimate heel in this situation. The guy used the Bulls, totally hoodwinked Chicago, then went on television and acted as if he would get teary-eyed when Chicago was brought up...after lambasting the Bulls organization. Then he was audacious enough to give himself credit for Pippen's role on the team. I don't think Wade is a bad guy, but he enjoys playing that role.

Not by himself.

You can't quantify that at all. The only reason to say something like that is to incite backlash from Bulls' fans.

Good job Debbie Downer.

Bulls fans hated lebron before the decision. You know the game where he was dancing like a clown on the sidelines and Noah called him corny for it?

You remember that right? Bulls fans hated that dude since then. Wade did what he did and Bulls fans lashed out at him for that so don't act like he got away scott free. Also, who cares what happened last season?

Why can't you let people have their little moment? We all know that the regular season doesn't matter as much as the playoffs, but you're acting like it's a foregone conclusion that the Heat will be back in the Finals. I think the Bulls will have something to say about it, no matter what ESPN says.

Come on Rami, we ALL know lebron had absolutely no help defending Rose. He shut him down ALL by himself.

You can't quantify that at all. The only reason to say something like that is to incite backlash from Bulls' fans.
He doesn't have to. He said it, so it's true. It's the same as when Jason Terry did it to lebron in the Finals and lebron choked in the 4th qtr. of every game.

We all know that Derrick Rose was having nightmares of lebron defending him, he even said so somewhere. I mean seriously, lebron is the greatest defender of all time.
