That's sort of my fear heading into a road game like this. The Cardinals' offense has been so pathetic the first two weeks, they're due for a correction.

I know what you mean. Even when the odds are lopsided, the underdog can rise up. Games are usually decided by no more than 3-4 plays. If the offense of the Cardinals does a correction, then maybe we can look better offensively after the initial scripted plays. Mitch is slowly getting the new offense. It can't be easy for him with the speed of the game. I think Matt Nagy has learned somethings already this season about play calling and relaxing with a lead.

Arizona's defense has been shredded the first two weeks. Wasn't it supposed to be a good unit coming into the season? Or is it just a consequence of having the worst offense in the NFL thus far?

Fangio will have difficulty evaluating the Cards offense. They’ve only snapped the ball 94 times this season. That’s horrendous.

I don't know why but this game scares me.

I can't believe the Cardinals are this bad. I mean in the first two games by them are BRUTAL. I have to believe that this team has to have some pride and just won't let us kick the shit out of them without fighting back. I'd love to see it but this might be tougher than we are thinking.

Bears 23-16 with an improved defensive effort by the Cardinals.

The Cardinals have been outscored this season 68-6. 0-34 shutout against a very good Rams team is one thing, but they also got embarrassed by the terrible Redskins. The only TD Arizona has scored came in garbage time when the Skins were up by 24 and they basically made them bleed the clock dry and surrendered the six.

I'm only a tiny bit concerned about the offense, but they should continue to improve week to week as they've shown so far. Defensively, they should absolutely feast on a horrendous Cardinal offense. I think the team will dominate the first half, be up 24-0 at halftime and coast in the second half.

Won't really have to do much evaluation. Just stack the box so Johnson doesn't become a factor and send a 5th rusher every third and long/medium situation against the worst ranked OL in the league. There would have to be serious miscues in the seconday for things to go the cardinals way.

Seemingly it's when the Cardinals have a QB they seem to win..

2015 (Palmer) L 23-48
2012 (Lindsey/Boyer) W 28-13
2009 (Warner) L 21-41
2006 (Leinart) W 24-23
2003 (Blake) W 28-3
2001 (plummer) W 20-13

I have no idea but they got booted from my fantasy team after week one

New defensive-oriented HC bringing in a new DC and implementing a new defense scheme (one-gap 4-3). In some aspects, it's a mirror image of the Bears offense situation. Except the Cardinals D was ranked very high (6th) last year, and the key pieces are all back. I'm nervous about them reverting to form this week. They'll certainly be playing with extremely high intensity, out of desperation. Too many people here are expecting a cakewalk. I'm expecting a 2006-like game...

Bears need to kick the shit out of AZ to quiet down a lot of the "Defense is real deal, but Trubisky..." talk.
