Unless Pace opens up his pocket book, I can’t imagine fournette ever wAnting to come to Chicago. Worst run game last year with a pair of quality backs and a HC that simply refuses to run for long periods of time, almost every single week.

Especially after being in Jacksonville.

I guess it just depends on how many teams need him...and want him with his known personality issues.

Maybe fewer than we think? No one really cares about his draft status at this point.

Honestly he's not that good. If you had him in fantasy football you know his greatest asset was the pure volume of touches he got. He is a big back that can't really move the pile. Reminds me of Darren McFadden in that they were both way better college players.

We can stop speculating about signing Fournette now. The Bears have re-signed Napoleon Maxwell. The run game should be fine unless the Lions sign Duke Wellington.

I think Pace is playing one of his long games with Fournette. There are some pros and cons in this, but, overall, Fournette needs the Bears. The question is, do they need Fournette. This post will, hopefully, come to an answer. What are the knocks on a back that has amassed over 2,500 yards and...

I think he is overrated, but am in favor of improving our offense and signing Fournette, Unfortunately though, I think it makes much more sense for him to go to Tampa and potentially get the bulk of the snaps. Here he would evenly split with Monty and I'm not sure the guy is selfless enough to do that.

Fournette had a decent year last year. It didn't show up TD-wise but his running and pass catching was decent.

His bad relationship with the Jags may hold him back from getting a lot of money. The Jags will have to pay him his fully guaranteed contract if they lose their grievence with him.

Someone will pick him up on the cheap.
