No, seperate.Did you put the pasta in the pot too?

No, seperate.
Just the chicken, and the sauce. Did everything else seperate. I'm gonna mess with some "one pot meals", but I've got a feeling that's better suited for shit like stews, pot roasts etc. If you want to keep individual textures, flavors, etc intact I'm not sure throwing everything into one pot is ideal. Takes a little more time, but worth it I think. My wife puts the pasta in at the end. Not sure how I feel about it.
She actually made spaghetti in the pot and it was ok.
Did you put the asparagus in there or just chicken?

Did her face get blown off yet?
Nope, not at all...but I seared it really well before I put it back in there on pressure cook mode. Again, more involved, but I think getting a solid brown on it helped a bunch from a texture perspective. Definitely tender though. Falling apart practically.Yeah, I agree. The mrs. Has done many one potters and while it is a quick meal and I'm appreciative; they dont make the best meals.
How did you feel about your chicken? Was it rubbery?
Fuk if I know, I'm not responsible for bomb cookers once I gift them.

Although I'm not sure how much time I actually saved when it was all said and done.
Sorry, sauteed, not seared. I put it in sautee mode, and cooked the chicken thighs in a bit of olive oil for like 3mins a side before I pressure cooked them.Seared on grill?
These actually came out pretty good, but I'd agree I probably could have got a better result in a cast iron skillet. One less pan I guess though? Shrug.I would say anything that needs to be seared or browned should be done on the cook top first because the instant pot absolutely sucks as a skillet.

Yeah the stuff we made turned out fine but the instant pot just didn't brown the chicken as advertised. I'm guessing it would make a killer coq au vin but I've been too lazy to pull it together. Awesome, thanks!Gotcha... you gotta try the orange chicken recipe. That was my favorite. I'm gonna go annoy my wife and get that for you.

Orange Chicken isn't clear. Try again.
Thanks.
I'm definitely gonna try it out. Thank you (and Maryland's wife).https://sweetandsavorymeals.com/instant-pot-orange-chicken/
Thank me later... My only knock was the heat. I like heat. But I am sure you could tweak this to your liking with spices. this is the one though. I'd argue its the best instant pot dish i've had.
