Lagunitas IPA and Maximus IPA are pretty mediocre. Sucks is delicious, though.

Not a fan of gumball head, but I'm not really into wheat beers.

LOL, I've done that pretty often. I wish I would've wrote down all the beers I had. A few of my friends and I used to buy some stuff and have our own beer tastings. One guy used to get his hands on some pretty rare and very good beers, and I barely remember any of them.

Lagunitas ipa is fine. Its often my default at the bar. Nothing special, but often the best they have.

My favorite ipa right now is Dragoon IPA.

Odell IPA is in my top 5 too.

Also, can't go wrong with Bells two hearted. Its a more mellow IPA with a really well rounded flavor. One of my all time favorites.

On a side note, I'm not a real big Wheat beer fan. I'll drink one every now and again. BUT, if you haven't tried New Belgium's Snapshot it is worth a taste. One of the better Wheat beers I've ever had. For what it's worth.

Cigar City Jai Alai

Based on your location, looks like a homer pick. JK

The white oak version is really good. Have you ever driven south and checked out Due South or Funky Buddha?

It is a bit of a homer pick, but I honestly do love the stuff :) Not only Jai Alai, but pretty much everything they brew with a few exceptions. I've been meaning to get over to their tap room, but every time I'm over there it's for work. Re Due South, I was down in Delray for a few months about a year ago. A little hole in the wall bar I would go to sometimes had one of their IPAs on tap (can't remember which one). Good stuff. Nope on Funky Buddha.

It was probably Cat 3 or 5 IPA. My brother is one of the brewers there and theres a ton of places with their stuff on tap now. I think theyre even distributing kegs up your way but i may be wrong.

Either way, gotta try to hit up both places if youre ever down these ways again. Funky Buddha always has some great stuff on tap at their lounge(Boca Raton) and brewery(Oakland Park)
