My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
And today shows us why they need another TOR. giving up 7 runs off of these wankers.

Oh and they are definitely wankers....two over the hill ex-white sox players doing us a number.

Yep. I'm thinking Baez will be the 2B next season and we'll find a way to ship off Castro
Be nice if they can bring Fowler back and basically keep lineup in tact..

Baez would probably hit 9th and Russell moved up to 7th

1. Fowler
2. Schwarber
3. Bryant
4. Rizzo
5. Soler
6. Montero
7. Russell
8. Pitcher
9. Baez

Put their FA money into a no.1 starter like Price

I actually really like Russell in the 9 hole if we're going to keep Schwarbs in the 2 hole. My line up would be:

1. Fowler
2. Schwarber
3. Rizzo/Bryant
4. Rizzo/Bryant
5. Soler
6. Baez
7. Montero
8. Pitcher
9. Russell

Fowler is probably out of their budget. I suspect they'll make him an offer though.

Just thinking Maddon will do for Baez like he did with Russell, bat him 9 to keep pressure off him and see better pitches..

Hitting 7 ahead of pitcher, likely see alot of junk off plate

Yeah, that's very true. He could do that. I just feel that Montero gives Baez enough protection and I love how Addison finds himself on base with two outs out of the 9 hole. He has the perfect skills to be there imo

I dont think the money will be a problem, think if anything that separates them could be the years...
If Cubs are looking at players like Almora, McKinney, or Happ taking over at some point, they may go low in years unless they feel he could be tradeable when need to.
