There is a lot to like about Schwarbie. The guy tries really hard. He has game changing power. He has made good adjustments this year by going with the pitch to LF.

On the negative side he is dangerous in the playoffs on defense. I could see the Cubs losing an important game with him bumbling around left field. He made a valiant effort to lose some weight in the offseason, but has gained half of it back. I predict by his 30s he will look and move like John Kruk. He will eventually be a DH in the AL

This is odd, listening to Len Kasper call the game on Fox. With Little Kenny Rosenthal.

I liked Ken as the regular breaking news guy in past incarnations of MLB Central and Hot Stove League on MLB Network. But he's just too chatty as a color guy, doesn't leave the play-by-play man the same kind of time a really good color guy knows how to do.

So the ump makes a bad call, then throws out two Cubs to make himself look even more foolish to a nationwide audience. Sucks, but the fact is that Javy swung at three balls. He just gets too amped up sometimes and needs to think a bit in those situations....everyone in the park knew he was going low and outside, Javy should have known as well.
