I hope that I am totally wrong but I don't see the Hawks going very far this year. This is as bad as I have seen their offense in a long long time. I liked the moves they made after Kane went out but thus far, everything looks slow and inefficient to me. And losing Richards also hurt in my mind.

I'll admit t that I know less about hockey than other sports and maybe someone can educate me a bit about what is really going on but this team just cannot get anything going in front of the opponent goal. Again, I hope that I am wrong but they look like they are playing with anvils around their skates.

Maybe they need to trade down this year and draft some PP/PK specialists?

I was thinking more along the line of trading Kane to free up cap space. Gotta sign more pk specialists for sure.

If they traded Kane and Toews to Winnipeg for Ladd and Frolik they open up a ton of cap space and immediately get better on special teams.

Based on your posts in other forums, I thought you were an expert of sorts on hockey....

I see this going 1 of 3 ways:

Hawks cannot find "the next level" and the team looks, in general, like it has for the plast while. Preds in 5.

Hawks find their next level and both core and depth players crank it up a niotch and play smarter hockey, 'hawks in 6.

Kane comes back ready this series, 'hawks in 5.

Gut is telling me 'hawks in 6.

I've seen enough on the internet to say with certainty that "penis in penis" isn't entirely innacurate... Google it, if you're man enough
I think I'll pass. Let me know how it goes for ya.

So, apparently Vermette won't be playing Wednesday. How do you not play a guy that you spent that much to acquire? Unreal.

Well, Ares, as a guy who represents himself as a god of war via his moniker, you must have been left out of the brain pool when the gods were lined up for their allotment. Truthfully, all I have ever read thus far in your efforts are cheap insults that add nothing to discussions. Do you have any offerings on the subject that you would care to share with the rest of Hawks fandom? Is that the limit of your "expertise"?

As a lightweight in understanding hockey, I appreciate people that do. With that in mind, what do you guys think might change for the Hawks and especially their offense to get them back rolling again? It looks to me that their opponents are eliminating everything going on in the center of the ice and forcing them to dump the puck in and chase. Any ideas?

There was talk his wrist or hand was injured, why Q hasn't been using him in faceoffs lately.
