Nerves. Every first timer has them, and just being able to breathe can be troublesome until they relax. He looked fine today, and in a hitters ballpark and as a beginner, he definitely will be bidding for a spot in the rotation, especially if he can keep that change up down in the zone.

It started with Chapman throwing 2 wild balls that sailed over Nate's head and stright into the fence, so Rizzo and Cog started yelling at him from the dugout. Then in between innings when the Cubs were taking their positions in the OF, Rizzo started talking to somebody in the Reds dugout and threw his hat and glove to the ground while going towards the Reds dugout and benches cleared.

Also, Chapman didn't help the situation by staring down and taunting the Cubs dugout while he was on the mound
