Same ole Heyward. Strikeouts, weak pop outs, slow choppers on the infield.

Yeah but today Bryant beats Heyward for the worst player of the game

Why does ESPN grab every insufferable player to join their broadcast when they retire?

Texiera?

Ugh.

Disagree. Heard him on BBTN and he was very solid. One of the better ex players to do the job.

And Jessica Mendoza had her shirt unbuttoned to her belly button and I still could not see any cleavage.

Only question I have is why a pitcher having some control issues (Montgomery) was left hanging out to dry....I mean he's a got fresh pen and an off day today.

Saw today that Grimm wasn't with team last night (death in family).
So my guess is he only had Rondon and Davis left in pen...
Possibly hoping to get 2 from Montgomery 9th and 10th if needed and then Rondon and or Davis if they got lead...

Said during off season that Zobrist will sit more this year with Schwarber back, Baez taking over 2B , and Almora / Jay playing CF

Most likely it will be Zo at 2B when Baez is covering another guy's day off. They are built for the long run and Baez should get over 500 PA's. Zo should still get over 400 himself.

I disagree..

Maddon likes Baez defense at 2B more

Contreras Baez Russell Almora/Jay makes one helluva defense up the middle

Zobrist wanted rest last year and has already said he looking for more rest this year throughout the season.. I think he back to the utility role playing the corner OF , and maybe play 1B for Rizzo day off.. think he'll probably get more like 300+ AB.

Now come playoff time, Maddon may have to make a tough decision to get Zobrist in lineup with everyone else if all are hitting...

Maddon said on the Score today that he expects Zobrist to get most of the starts at 2B with Baez getting his AB moving around.
