This bullpen makes me so nervous lol.

I don't think it would make you as nervous if the 4th and 5th starters weren't so awful. Plus they just got Grimm back so that will help. I really feel that the bullpen woes have been exacerbated by Wood and Hendricks not getting into teh later innings.

The key is getting the starter into the 7th. This puts less stress on the pen. Then if a starter bails early you have Jackson able to get it to the 7th. /that is ideal.

That line up right now is their best chance of winning games. Bryant needs protection. Not hitting #2. That was Special person. Him batting behind Rizzo has afforded Rizzo some good pitches. Plugging Montero there did not help Bryant and it wont help Rizzo.

3 out of the 4 were highly competitive games. Just like when they were winning, do not get to up because they are going to be inconsistent. This is a lull. No need to go over board with it because they will come back and be high again.
