This must seem like BP to the Giants after dealing with Jake last night.

Spot on. Can't hit the mitt to save his life lately. Looking like another short day for Kyle.

Right there is Hendricks game...start the pitch belt high and let the bottom fall out. He hurts himself a lot by getting it up.

MLB really has to take a long look at computerized balls & strikes....these guys are so bad it's embarrassing. He's already missed a half dozen pitches and its the first damn inning.

Great point from Sutcliffe -- Hendricks has refused to go inside after the lead-off HR. Hendricks can't nibble, his MO is location and changing levels. If he doesn't do that, he can't get anyone out. And that's what we've seen all inning.

And really poor read by Russell, should've charged that knowing his only play was at first.

Bryant 2 run single. Bad base running. Have to read the ball going through not just hope it does.

Baseball 101 is that Bryant goes there, and sacrifices the out if need be, to assure the throw is cut, and the second run scores.

That is the correct base running play, yet fans routinely get upset at the batter for getting thrown out.

I'm liking Castro at 2B....his throws seem to be much more accurate and he turns the DP pretty darn well.

Missed it. But I see we get on Russell for his, but never Castro.

Didn't see you discussing Castro's horrible first at bat where he did everything wrong - twice. I read that he made an adjustment yesterday - he moved closer to the plate and stopped reaching and trying to pull the ball, something I pointed out a month and a half ago to snarky comments from Parade Rain. After one day, he has adjusted back.

What? The play was never going to the plate. With 2 outs the runner is off on contact. There was not shot to throw him. The only way you go is if you see the ball sailing over the cutoff man. It was bad base running 100% of the time.

What? Russell made a mental error. Take your meds old man.
