Not a fan of Schwarber not playing. If he is a core guy he should be playing everyday, but I'm a Schwarber guy so I may be bias.

Crazy Schwarber batting .417 but sat out tonight

4 games in and not one start in left field. Sadly, Schwarber is getting punished with this current Theo and Joe war of words. I guess theo will have so send Zagunis down with happ so Joe has no choice but to put Schwarbs in the lineup.

Theo is going to blow this thing up like he did in Boston. The guy is great at establishing a culture and he made some great trades early on. For some reason he just doesnt seem to be able to sustain success. Between the strange decision to not spend and the decision to not extend Joe, there has to be a lot of tension between Theo/Ricketts/Joe. This might be a blow it up midseason kind of year.

Cubs have not been the same since Davey Martinez left. I think Joe needs to get his rolodex back so he can call the clowns and petting zoo people back in.
