He was a 99 wRC+ last year, or league average. Better than former CCS Cubs Forum 2015 "Boy Toy of the Year" Ender Inciarte, whom most of the board wanted to trade Javy Baez for at one point.

Not sure what Rizzo was thinking glad he didnt get doubled up. Is it just me or is these players baseball and IQ on the field getting worse. It always look like they are still playing in little league.

Heyward is athletic, and it just seems he should "break out of it'. But that's like expecting someone to just become a deadly jump shooter after being pretty poor.
