not sure why some are worried about morrow in the closer role. guy has absolutely nasty stuff
New role for him and has had injuries that set him back, so at least for me im just not there with him now with the uncertainty if he can get the job done consistently..

More outings like today and we'll be good

I'll only do the chorus, since I want to resist causing completely needless pain... :D

(Sung to the tune of "Tomorrow" from the musical Annie)

{chorus}
To Morrow!
To Morrow!
The save goes
To Morrow!
'Cause Morrow, he pitched just great!
.....

(ducking)

Was happy to see Happ come through after another tough day. Beautiful bunt by Lester as well.

I felt not sending La Stella on the Caratini double and then on the Heyward ground ball was a mistake.

Jesus @ the Phillie’s putting up 20 and counting on the fish.

LaStella send home on Heyward GB is an automatic "go". There is no send.

Assuming health I had no concerns about Morrow. His numbers were actually better than Davis’ last year and the stuff he showed in 2017 was closer’s stuff. Do some guys struggle when they’re moved into the ninth inning role? Sure, but mostly because their stuff doesn’t play in the situation. Morrow’s does.

sure seems like this is something that gets us a new third base coach, it seems to happen every game.

With Rizzo out again, maybe we'll see Victor "Captain Caveman" Caratini facing "Hey, Hey, Hey, it's Matt Alllll-bers!" again... :D

(I'm working on my nicknames for 2018. Caratini's permanent curled-lip snarl just strikes me as Captain Caveman, though he has very intelligent, piercing eyes in the mix. Fascinating player. Albers' nickname is just obvious to anyone who watched Saturday morning cartoons in the 1970's...)

Depending on how treatment goes today, good chance Rizzo lands on DL..

Its 10 days, so he can miss 6 more games..

With runner on 2nd no outs, Schwarber inability to pull ball and popping up cost the cubs a run...

Just frustrating watching these guys not do the little things to score runs, makes me miss the way they played the game when i was younger..

To be fair, the next two guys didn't do any better. It's unfair and disingenuous to single out one guy for failing to hit with RISP, when *everyone* on the club is having serious struggles doing it.
