Edit: guess seeing a replay he wasn't as shallow as it looked they just hit it to an alley.

Sometimes, it looks like Fowler just coast. I don't know if its the long legs but he never looks like he is busting ass out there.

Seeing as Hayward stole second on the first pitch, I'm not sure pitching around guys to set up DP with Lester on the mound makes sense

Matheny makes a lot of head scratching moves as manager. Was watching a bleacher nation live stream while back that talked about this. They came to the conclusion he must just be dynamite at handling players in the club house because his in game calls are considered by many some of the worst of any manager in baseball.

IIRC williams was the other name they mentioned when talking about brutal in game calls.

Martinez 51 pitches thru 2.... doubt he makes it thru 5.

Cubs hitters will be getting their 3rd look at Martinez in just the top of the 4th inning. So that might help.
