Cubs recall Alec Mills from Iowa to take Butlers spot since Hamels is not expected to join the team until Sunday. You would figure he wont pitch for a while anyway so why put him on the 25 man right away.

Dont really want to see Monty or Chatwood starting anymore..

They pretty much need to play .600 ball the rest of the way, gonna be tough with multiple starters that cant go more then 5 innings consistently..

Maybe Joe will start batting the pitcher 7th so there are two chances ahead of Rizzo, instead of putting him back at 3 or 4

Offense is too inconsistent..

Only thing that kept this team afloat this far is the weakness of NL and the division for the most part..
