It feels amazing to stick to the Cardinals. 5-0.

Castro has now hit in something like 24 out of 26 games this month. He is just crushing. Valbuena has hit a power stride. Mixture of youth and vets have this team playing some watchable ball.

Cards' announcers called several times for Cubs to be thrown at after first two games.

Maybe Cards should be as well after scoring 13, :)

I am down on Valbuena's D, but i would really like to see him stay here as bench depth / utility IF next year.

I like Valbuena and hope he stays as a LH utility player next year, but he sure has raised his trade value the last month...

Baez has been playing some pretty good 2B the last few games, looking more n more comfortable there...

How dumb.

Yeah, seriously... because the Cards are getting embarrassed by such a "sorry" team?

I think most of baseball's unwritten rules are pretty fricking stupid, but yeah, this would be taking it to another level...

I was joking about it because I heard yesterday no fewer then 6 references to it from three different Cards announcers.

Keep in mind this team always throws at the opponent, and it was always the other guy's fault when tempers flared. Started under Larussa and continues now.

They hit Puig twice, Rizzo twice, Hanley Ramirez, Andrew MCutcheon.....all in the span of about a week to ten days and it was all "innocent".

And their fans are so damn gullible that when their manager blames the other guy, they get outraged at the opponent.

So nice to be beating these turds.

Get out of this inning with no more damage. A solo HR when up 5 is no big deal. Don't let them turn this into anything.

Not only are they turds.....but they are are arrogant turds. I hope the Cubs knock them and they're pisshead fans out of the playoffs.

LOL. Why am I drinking kool aid? I made no predictions or anything. You don't think the Cubs winning a WS will be a big deal? Fortunately, your opinion doesn't matter. The only opinions that matter will be the FA pitchers that think it would be a big deal, and may want to be a part of it. Sounds to me that you're just another Debbie downer.

Called being pragmatic. I don't call WS until they make the play offs. I don't believe the youth project will work until Baez and Alcantara are hitting. Not fighting off the Mendoza line.

You came in talking smack right away. Most here are realists but hopeful it works out.

I've been a Cubs fan for 40 years. I don't get rah rah about this team. 2003 taught me not to become that way.

Dude Wood gave up a pass. That has been his problem this year BB. Good teams take advantage.

Cards look like complete shit for the series, and will not only split, but will come out of it tied with the Brewers.

Wouldn't shock me if they package or just trade Alcantara to a team needing a 2Bmen for pitching....

Baez looking like he settling in at 2B , I dont know I think Alcantara defense and arm in CF will cost them...
