Did you see Bryant lose that ball in the sun and the wind when he was playing right field?

So now, because both San Diego and Detroit ( division leading clubs) have butchers in right field its OK for the cubs to have one? Is this butcher you claim detroit has out there the Castellanos guy that the cubs have been rumored to be looking at?

All Heywards value is in right field, not center. Theo realized that in spring training and brought Fowler back because of it. Might as well put Bryant in center where he would rather play or put Contrares out there.
You’re nuts.

Anyone who thinks Bryant is a butcher is nuts.

Can someone explain the rationale of having a batter who is batting 138 in the last month in the 5 slot? I know I am just some doofus who knows nothing and Maddon is the all knowing guru but really?

7-1 long forgotten. Two losses in a row and it’s Knucklehead Central around here.

.238, but, whatever.

Rationale is Joe sets 162 lineups while in Arizona.

Batting .500 with RISP
.500 with RISP? When? This week? Month? For the year KB is hitting .224 with RISP and .219 with RISP and 2 outs....which is the definition of "clutch" situation. That being said...of course you want a .295 hitter in your lineup. The good vibes of the 7-1 start after the break is indeed gone. Strop really demoralized the team yesterday and it has carried over. Cubs look lifeless and dead right now after that meltdown from Darvish.

Let's be honest about Schwarber. There are so many things wrong with this team...but your leadoff guy is hitting .227. Sure he hits the occasional home run..but ranks only like 46th in the league in that category. His lifetime average is around .229. This is who he is. He changed his stance...approach etc. in offseason and yet he's the SAME guy he has ALWAYS been. Is he gonna change it back again this offseason? Get back to the glory days of his .230 average? Your leadoff guy being Schwarber is a BIG problem. Pedro Strop being yopur bridge to Kimbrel is another one. Almora and his .236 average and no power is another. No need to belabor the disaster that Russell is. Just when you think the Cubs are gonna go on a roll...they lose 3 in a row....(barring a miracle tonight) and just a half game up on St. Louis. This bullpen has blown 17 of 41 saves. That's almost 50 %. My gawd. That is ridiculously bad. I enjoyed watching the 100 loss Cubs...cuz you knew good times were ahead...and there were no expectations or ridiculous hype. I know other teams have problems too. But man...the list is getting really long with this Cubs team.

Nice 0-4 from Schwarber tonight. Down to a .226 average. Your leadoff man. AND his terrible throw cost another run. That guy was dead to rights...but Schwarbers throw was so bad he scored. Why do you want a .226 hitter to have more at bats than anyone else on the team?

Baez swinging at that low outside garbage again. For as many things that are wrong with this team...just think of where it would be if the bullpen hadn't of blown almost HALF of their save opportunities? Of course they would be 25 games over .500...but no team saves every game..we all get that. OR...they weren't one of the worst teams in the league with RISP?

What a gift with a walk to the .180 hitting Descalso. But Bochy smartly brings in a good reliever to put out the fire. Damn. Why can't THEY have a guy like Strop out of the bullpen that we could take batting practice on?
