I didn't realize how much he slumped off Avg. wise the last few weeks. I thought he was still in high .270s

Hopefully these last couple games, now lead off double, gets him going again

Heyward smokes one to the second baseman. This man has been robbed more than any other Cub this year. I dont know if that his spray chart is that predictable or just a tough year. The baseball God's have to even this out.

Taking nothing away from the .300 plus hitters of past..
But it seems with the way defenses play now, setting up and aligning themselves now defensively according to the charts..
Makes you appreciate the .300 hitters today more

Pretty much called it. They don't want him to beat them. Nice to see Russell pick it up.

Yeah baby, Russell makes Clemens pay!! All with 2 outs too! The guys are working the count on this guy, at this rate he's not going to make it out of the 4th inning. Guy has thrown 69 pitches through 3 innings. I don't know how good the Marlins bullpen is but it can't be that great.

Finally a double play!! The guy needed that in the worst way. Rohr hit one that's still going! I just want Lackey to go 6 and get it to the pen..Our bullpen has been great for the last couple of weeks and really all year.

Maddon left Lackey out there too long. He didn't have it today. Need some help from Concepccion. Not much coming. Guy comes in and gives up 2 runs. Fuck this sucks. Long way to go but damn!! Cubs can't seem to hold on to a lead very long.
