The first run the Nats score is gonna feel like 5 with the way Scherzer is pitching so far

Gonna be a rough night when the ump is giving him 6 inches off the corner to lefties.

And our hitters dont understand the concept of going with the pitch. J/K

Hendricks doing his part so far...

Lets at least get a hit this inning and get Scherzer pitch count up a bit more

The plate umpire will have none of that....yet another brutally officiated game behind the plate. I guess we should be used to it by now.

Good job by Hendricks to get out of that. That was a brutal error by Russell with that part of the lineup

Baker should bat Zimmerman 9th after the pitcher against the Cubs..

Of course Maddon may walk the pitcher to get to him?

Addison Russell said "How'd you like that?"

No more perfect game for you Mr. Scherzer.

9 pitch AB ends with homer. Nice. They might win this but they ain't getting no perfect game, no no-hitter and not even a shutout.

Suck it, Washington.

Hendricks is starting to show why he's the most replaceable candidate on this team.

Time for Woods.

Excitement of Russell homer didn't last long..

Maddon tried to squeeze 1 more inning out of Hendricks who was over 90 pitches..

Hendricks held his own pretty damn good against Scherzer for 5 innings

Woods isn't gonna do better than 3.05era in the starter role. All of starters are fine...
