You have to admit, this team's versatility is amazing.

LF needs to come out, we put a SS in to pinch run.

I assume Javy goes from SS to 2B, Bote from 2B to 3B, and Bryant from 3B to LF. Not something you see every day, though we saw something similar within the past few days.

(All necessitated by an injury some fans are mocking)

Need CJ to get this last out, then have the umps call the game for the rain. It's an official game, so that would give us the DH split without worrying that someone is going to get hurt trying to play while wallowing in the mud and slick grass.

Just curious about all these walks...didn't the Cubs bring in a new PC because the last one had pitchers walk too many on his watch?

Spencer Kieboom, Spencer Kieboom,
Works in a ballpark with flowers in bloom.
His teammates all know that, anytime soon,
Spencer's pro career will go Ka-Boom!

ROFLMAO! Nope -- though anyone who watched the Animaniacs cartoon show back in the 90's ought to recognize from whence this derives... ;)

Hint -- the original segment was called Katie Kaboom...

Grand slam in the first, and may finish with 5.

Rain washes out a Lester start and the pen blows a Hamels start. Not a good 24 hours.

This bullpen has been so reliable all year, tough to watch them go belly up down the stretch.

Lol...

I never realized how boring the IGT are til being just a reader this week..

There literally just like 3 or 4 that post on here with no real discussions..lol

Everyone disappears when cubs are losing

Oh by the way, as i said before , looking like a tough stretch for the cubs last 2 weeks..
5 and 5 so far and lost 3 games on the lead to the Brewers, just up 2.5 now..
Making the 3 games with them starting Monday even bigger

Oh yea, and i remember saying that between Maddon and the rotation guys like Cishek and Edwards along with the rest of the pen are gonna struggle from overused come September

The most precious part about this is that Dipshit McDumbass thinks that predicting a team playing 20-some straight days of baseball will be in for a "tough stretch" is insight worthy of praise. If he set the bar any lower for himself he'd have to dig a trench for it.
