Now, you want Bryant out there who is an IF but will play OF. Consistent as ever with your post.

99% Schwarber gets no where near that ball and he is just on our team. Contreras can run which is what made it close.
That is true since Schrawber was in Left field and probably couldn't have gotten there.

WTF are you drinking? I was making the point that Maddon fucks with his lineups so much no one knows where they play.

How did he save the game? We lost

Read what I posted. "At the time being". His throw to nail the runner at the plate saved the game at that moment. Obviously, they ended up losing

I dont disagree with that. I dont think they need bats. They need a bat that elongates their lineup. It also doesnt help that Rizzo has hit like shit for over a month. BP they need a LOOGY. But, if Kimbrel isnt Kimbrel then we have problems

We'll have a better understanding of where this team is at the first week of August..

Whatever additions they make and how they're playing at that point will go along way to seeing if they're contenders or pretenders the final 2 months

He was playing no double, so he was far into the group. He had to make a full sprint for the ball and just kind of whiffed on it. It was a really hard play, but one he would say he should make. He didnt get glove.
Yeah, that would of been a tough play even for Heyward coming as far as he did..
Not saying Heyward wouldn't of caught it, just saying it not 100% guarentee he would of.

Yeah, which makes total sense that you criticized my post where I asked Maddon to essentially set the lineup for now and let the team figure out their slump by consistent spots in the lineup and the field. But i'm the idiot for suggesting using Contreras in the OF, who got an OF assist, but you'd much prefer Bryant who has 1 OF assist over his last 400+ innings in the OF.

I'd ask this question but I'm afraid the answer: with a C like Caratini, why is it so hard to think of moving Contreras to a spot where you get both bats in the lineup AND you save the wear and tear on Willson?

Offensively and keeping Contreras fresh it does make sense but what about like tonight in a one run game in the 9th? Do you substitute defense for Contreras?

Because Contreras blew a fly ball the 98 percent of mlb players catch As long as not fielding works then go for it. Contreras has a great arm but his fielding in the outfield sucks

Are you fucked up? That play would be extremely hard for any OF. Do you have any clue where he was playing? Why must you and Urblock get fucked up and shit post like morons?

Different takes on that throw home. Joe Maddon: "We were playing for the out and threw the ball to the plate, and that kind of messed things up a little bit."
Addison Russell: "I'm pretty much thinking home before the play even developed." #Cubs

Now you are just being a dick because I don’t agree with you. That was not a difficult play for a mlb outfielder. Just my opinion

Actually having a beer is not a bad idea to go with the bbq chicken. You have a good evening Silence

Considering he made the final out of the previous inning, yes I'd pull him for a defensive replacement in that situation especially with Heyward on the bench.
