Pirates have scored in 5 of the first 6 and 4 of those innings has been crooked numbers. So does anyone believe this team will turn it around soon. 4-14 now in the last 18 road games and these games are getting out of hand in the first few innings

To be honest I personally think that he gets rattled easy. I wouldn't doubt that Joe called him into his office pre game and told him he is getting demoted post game to promote Hondo for Tue and it got in his head.

Yesterday it was Maples. He has no business in the majors and they keep on beating themselves up promoting him.

I was hoping that Alzolay would be good enough to stick around. But even before today he seems to get out of rhythm if something goes wrong. With the walk fest the last game. game before he gave up a HR and came unraveled. Today he just got pounded.

So uneducated guess. He is young.
