Is that the same amount of times you would wrestle your uncle in his basement?
That’s the amount of times i would wrestle your sister in your moms basement (your room) she said she loved it when I put her in a figure 4 leg lock and when I would stick it and make the bed rock, also when I licked her and left her twisted like a dread lock ??

The one sided part of the trade usually happens from the team selling.. they ask for everything in return for one guy, don’t think it’s going to cost the top 3 or 4 prospects for Whit honestly. The cubs have guys with value.. even Happ, Bote, Almora, Russell have value and any 2 of those plus a top 5 prospect would be enough for a player of Whit Merrifield’s caliber. All of the above mentioned cubs players are young and controlled for multiple years so how do they not have any value? They also have major league experience and 2 of those are gold glove caliber defenders, one is a switch hitter that can play multiple positions and the other can also play all over

I've already replied to that. If you are talking Dee Gorden for Happ I could see Seattle buying on it. There is control and a history between the two teams.

Witt would cost more that Theo is willing to spend.

Haha I didn’t copy and paste just remember those lyrics. Anyways back to baseball talk and honestly what do you think of this trade idea I came up with: Schwarber and Bote for Whit or Schwarber, Bote, Amaya for whit. Then try and also get Dee Gordon for say Russell or Gordon for a couple lower tier prospects? You have your outfield set with Whit Almora and Heyward. 2nd base and lead off set for this year with Gordon until Nico is ready to take over possibly next year sometime. Would be great to have those 2 at the top of the lineup with speed and contact ahead of Bryant, Rizzo, Baez, Contreras

And to be frank. Gordon sucks. Happ sucks also. So this is a change of scenery.

But Dee plays D and has speed. So Joe can utilize it as needed. It is more of a flavor trade vs a game changing deal.

I believe that deal was already made with Kimbrel. That was the biggest issue going into the season and it has been addressed. As far as a true lead off Schwarber is it. Just relax and take that horse pill slow on the swallow.

1st game https://www.mlb.com/gameday/mets-vs...state=final,game_tab=play-by-play,game=565161

9th inning HR. Then mound visit. Then walk. Then Joe pulls him. Joe said that he felt that he was losing it after the HR.

https://www.mlb.com/gameday/braves-...state=final,game_tab=play-by-play,game=565166

Walk, mound visit (short leash again), Throwing error on pick off. The fly out, line out. Walk. 2nd mound visit. walk then yank.

Today he had nothing. But I didn't get to watch the game to see if he was off. Or Pitt had scouted him. Pitchers have tenancies and that could have come into play. But hit by pitch and walks. His command was shit.

Maybe he could have pieced it together if they let him.

But from what I saw was Joe had a short leash on his first 2 games. anything bad happens he goes to the mound. This game went to mound before Matre. Then it imploded. Then Joe let him figure it out the hard way.

I just see this as the learning process. I would demote him though. They have a off day Friday and Hondo returning. At this point they need fresh arms.

So...1st game: The HR was not a sign he lost it after four innings? But the walk was a sign he lost it mentally because of the HR?

How on earth do you make that contention seriously?

If he doesn’t literally pitch five perfect innings he is mentally weak?

Good gravy!

Lol someone over on the pro sports daily cubs message board just said kimbrel was smart to sign here... big pay day with minimal work and he was 100 percent correct. Kimbrel might not get more than 4 save chances a month.

I will tell you what. I will bet you $1,000 Kimbrel gets more than four save opportunities per month. Each month a separate bet.

Not that at all. I feel it is pretty childish to call out posters on stuff like that. I understand if there is a disconnect on the point. Or if that point is not understandable because of wording or vagueness.

That whole business is just being a dick pure and simple.

Who ever said that? I said he is young. Not mentally weak. Is that your definition for it? Take new drivers. They account for most of the accidents on the road. They are not mentally weak. They are inexperienced and over confident.

In his case he just got into the show. All he could say was amazing amazing. This is a big deal for a kid from Venezuela.

Looks like 2B is a potential spot. Jed said that they have been using Ryan too much and Montgomery is not suited as a left on left. He is better in multiple innings.

He did say that adding O was a area of need. But the whole 2B Mitt etc was the writers opinions.

So that is where it stands going into the deadline.

I don't really know much about KC's situation honestly. If they have a LOOGY to toss with Mitt. It would be a ideal scenerio. The writer popped off Hand also. Aim high and talk about two of the top trade targets in the same conversation.
